MaterniTee by Swanky™ is a line of stylish maternity tees designed by me, Kristin Scully. I am a mother of two girls and became pregnant with my first child, Adison, in my early twenties. Less than two years later I announced I was pregnant with my second child, Logan.

I loved being pregnant and loved the changes my body went through during both of my pregnancies. The only thing I didn’t enjoy was the lack of comfortable and stylish maternity clothing available to me.

After extended research, I found that in 2003 the average age of a woman’s first pregnancy was 25*. I assumed that there were probably other young moms out there just like me that wanted to show off their pregnancy with style. Immediately MaterniTee by Swanky™ was born.

Every pregnant woman wants to be comfortable from the beginning until the end of her pregnancy. But, that doesn’t mean you have to give up your “fun, fresh and fashionable” self. MaterniTee by Swanky™ is the answer to your husband’s shirts, baggy tees and plain, run-of-the-mill maternity tops that do not aim to flatter the pregnant woman.

The shirts are 100% American made:

• American Apparel™, a sweat-shop free manufacturer out of Los Angeles produces the tees.
• Lamprey River Screenprinting, a printing company out of New Hampshire, prints the tees.
• All of the fabric appliqué on the quilted tees is currently produced by Kristin.

The current Early Winter 2004 season consists of two style options; short sleeves and a camisole with built-in bra for extra support. The three tee color options for Early Winter 2004 are Eggplant, Olive and Fuchsia. The tees are designed to be worn with a long sleeve shirt layered underneath for cooler weather.
